6 month British Airways Gold status

British Airways is offering a status match to Gold status for Canadian and American residents before May 7, 2024.

Approved applicants will receive a response within five business days, up to two weeks.

To extend this status beyond six months, book and travel on two paid transatlantic flights within six months of the upgrade. These flights must be in business class (Club World) or First Class, marketed by British Airways, American Airlines, or Finnair, and originate from the US, Canada, or Mexico. These flights should also be eligible for earning Tier Points and Avios.
