I would recommend to purchase this upgrade 1 to 3 days before your Vegas or Atlantic City trip. You can renew your status by visiting MGM Rewards desk when your status is expired.

Provide you a Captain's Club account for matching MGM Rewards Gold and you can keep that account until MGM Rewards and Captain's Club end their strategic partnership.

Please note that this MGM Rewards Gold status upgrade service does not upgrade your MGM Rewards account to Gold status online directly.
This upgrade should be done by visiting an MGM Rewards desk in person at any MGM Rewards destination nationwide.
