1: Caesars Diamond
First, apply for the Wyndham Business Earner credit card, which grants you Wyndham Diamond status. You can then match this status to Caesars Diamond via the dedicated page.
If you don’t already have your Caesars Diamond player's card, you can pick it up at any Caesars property in Atlantic City, such as Caesars, Harrah’s, or Tropicana.
2: Hard Rock
Next, head to the Hard Rock Casino. Instead of using self-parking, opt for valet service. This is important because self-parking requires upfront payment, and you won’t yet have your ICON card for complimentary parking. Valet services allow you to pay upon exiting, at which point you’ll receive your ICON card that includes free valet parking.
As mentioned earlier, your Caesars Diamond card is valid for matching at Hard Rock’s ICON program, regardless of any previous membership. If you encounter any issues with your match, politely ask to speak with another agent or consider applying for the Bally’s Superstar card. You can also return later if needed.

As of the publication of this article, Hard Rock Atlantic City is the only Hard Rock venue that accepts rematches, even if you have previously held an ICON card. While you won’t receive the same benefits as before, you will obtain a bright yellow ICON card. Please note that your ICON card will be valid until February 28, 2025.
3: Ocean Casino
To reach Ocean Casino, exit the back of the Hard Rock and walk left along the boardwalk for about five minutes—driving is unnecessary.
If you’re a new member at Ocean or if you haven’t participated in any activities for the past 18 months, you can qualify for Ocean Prime status.
First-time Ocean members enjoy two free nights from Sunday to Friday, while inactive members do not qualify for this offer. However, all matchers will receive:
- A free lounge pass for the Avila Lounge
- A priority self-parking tag
- A complimentary t-shirt
Additionally, you will be granted two complimentary nights at Wynn Las Vegas or Encore and a $50 resort credit, available most days. Please note, opting out of the resort fee means forfeiting resort amenities like Wi-Fi, which will then incur a separate charge.
You will also benefit from a complimentary Ocean View Bella stateroom on any sailing up to ten nights (excluding China) with MSC, with a booking deadline of July 1, 2025. Here are a few details to keep in mind:
- Blackout dates include US Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, and all sailings from Europe in July and August.
- Some international itineraries may carry additional fees.
- A non-refundable deposit of $400 is required, which will be converted to Casino Credit onboard.
Be aware that if you use your card at the casino, there’s a chance your card might be locked unless you show some gaming activity. This seems to suggest the casino is cautious about status matchers while not wanting to alter their matching rules.
Your Ocean Prime card will be valid until June 30, 2025. Notably, if you match between March and June 2024, your status will be automatically extended to June 30, 2025. Even without a new card, your status remains valid for the cruise and complimentary nights since it is managed by Ocean.

MGM Gold status can also be reacquired using your Hard Rock ICON card; however, keep in mind this will only remain valid for three months. The MGM Status Match Challenge is in effect for the remainder of the year.
It’s important to note that the partnership with Hyatt has ended, meaning no reciprocal hotel benefits. Moreover, MGM Gold offers limited perks in the new MGM / Marriott Bonvoy partnership. The status can be beneficial if you visit MGM casinos, providing priority check-ins, free parking, waived resort fees, and preventing Comp Dollar expiration while you hold Gold status.
