Upgrade your existing Hertz Gold Plus Rewards account to President’s Circle status and enjoy Hertz’s highest level of elite recognition and benefits.

President’s Circle status normally requires 20 qualifying rentals or $4,000 in qualifying spend within a calendar year. With this service, your eligible Hertz Gold Plus Rewards account will be upgraded without completing those standard qualification requirements.

Processing Time

Please allow approximately 1–3 working days for your upgrade request to be processed.

Once approved, please allow up to 7 additional business days for President’s Circle status to appear on your Hertz Gold Plus Rewards account.

Vehicle Upgrade Terms

Vehicle class upgrades are subject to availability at the time and location of rental and are not guaranteed when making a reservation.

Car-class upgrades do not apply to certain specialty vehicle collections and may be subject to location-specific restrictions. Upgrade benefits are unavailable at certain participating locations, including applicable exclusions in Greece and the UAE.

The maximum complimentary upgrade may be limited to a Full-Size vehicle, and a minimum qualifying reserved vehicle class may be required.
